2. Legal basis (LOPDPGDD / GDPR)
We process personal data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract performance when you place an order; under Article 6(1)(a) when you submit contact forms or accept cookies; and under Article 6(1)(c) to comply with legal obligations. We comply with Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDPGDD) and the AEPD guidelines.

- Name, email, phone, country at checkout or via contact forms
- Order details including selected services, add-ons, and amounts
- IP address for security purposes
- Cookie consent stored in browser localStorage
4. How we use data
- Processing and fulfilling translation and interpretation orders
- Responding to project enquiries
- Sending order confirmations and project communications
- Complying with legal obligations
5. Data sharing
We share data only with Stripe, Inc. as our payment processor. Translation work is handled by our internal team and registered freelance specialists under confidentiality agreements. We do not sell or rent personal data.
6. Retention
Order records are retained for 7 years under Spanish tax law (Ley 58/2003 General Tributaria). Contact form submissions are retained for 2 years or until the matter is resolved.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and LOPDPGDD you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You may lodge a complaint with the AEPD at www.aepd.es. To exercise any right, contact hello@translators-international.com.
8. International transfers
Payment data is processed by Stripe, Inc. which operates under EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA for any other purpose.
